Because of the nature and typical content of romance novels we are operating under the assumption that all customers/readers are at least 18 years of age or have their guardian's permission to make a purchase if younger than 18. 

We sell romance books, so there are definitely romantic themes of various degrees in all our titles. Some books the romance is the main event and others, such as our romantic mysteries, the romance is part of the story, but also shares the stage with other themes. 

Sex in romance novels exists on a spectrum from closed door/fade-to-black to very descriptive and graphic. We try to accommodate everyone's preferences by carrying titles along the entire spectrum. If you have questions about a specific title, author websites/social media platforms are great resources for this information. If you need help picking something out, please email us at xoxo@swoonishpages.com and we'd be happy to point you in the right direction!

Triggering content is unique to each person and we strongly encourage everyone to research any books they are considering purchasing. Thankfully, many authors and reviewers share Trigger/Content Warnings via author websites and social media. You as the customer are responsible for researching a title/author before purchasing and Swoonish Pages cannot be held responsible for a customer encountering content that they find triggering, uncomfortable or age-inappropriate.
