About Us

Swoonish Pages is a Novel Model bookshop that is unapologetically focused on providing romance novels to the people! We do not yuck anyone's yum at our house, so you will find everything from sweet, closed-door romance to dark and/or kinky reads. We specialize in supporting indie and diverse books/authors and try to carry titles you many not find at a chain. On top of that, we love to support our home state of Virginia authors as often as we can! No matter what you pick up, you know it will be swoon worthy!

Inspired by the romance bookstores that have come before, owner Jessica Malone, opened Swoonish Pages in 2024 as a passion project and as a way to get discounted books for herself. During the day, she is an office manager with a 401k, so bookselling is truly a side hustle. She is married to her husband, an avid toy collector and mom to the sweetest gal ever.
